เมื่อวันที่ ๒๓ มิถุนายน ๒๕๕๘ นายดำรง ใคร่ครวญ เอกอัครราชทูต ณ กรุงกัวลาลัมเปอร์ ได้เข้าเยี่ยมคารวะดาโต๊ะซรี นาซรี อาซิส รัฐมนตรีว่าการกระทรวงการท่องเที่ยวและวัฒนธรรมมาเลเซีย เพื่อแนะนำตัวในโอกาสเข้ารับหน้าที่ ในโอกาสนี้ ได้มีโอกาสหารือข้อราชการในประเด็นต่าง ๆ อาทิ การแลกเปลี่ยนการเยือนในระดับสูง ความร่วมมือด้านการท่องเที่ยว โดยเฉพาะอย่างยิ่งในระดับภูมิภาค และการขนส่งข้ามแดน ซึ่งเป็นปัจจัยสำคัญสำหรับส่งเสริมการท่องเที่ยวและการแลกเปลี่ยนด้านวัฒนธรรมระหว่างไทยกับมาเลเซีย

 

On 23 June 2015, H.E. Mr. Damrong Kraikruan, Ambassador of Thailand to Malaysia, paid a courtesy call on Y.B. Dato' Sri Nazri Aziz, Minister of Tourism and Culture of Malaysia, to introduce himself upon taking up his duty in Kuala Lumpur. On this occasion, the two had an opportunities to exchange views on topics ranging from the exchange of high level visits and tourism cooperation to issue relating to cross-border transport and logistics, which were among the main factors that encouraged the exchanges of tourists and culture between the two neighbouring countries.
